The Korn Ferry Tour will mark Route 66’s 100th anniversary in 2026 with a four-event points race and a $100,000 bonus pool.

The Korn Ferry Tour is adding a fresh storyline to its 2026 schedule with the debut of the Route 66 Cup, a four-event competition tied to the 100th anniversary of historic U.S. Route 66.

The new Korn Ferry Tour Route 66 Cup will give players another high-stakes race to watch, with a $100,000 bonus pool on the line across four stops in Texas, Illinois, and Oklahoma.

The competition begins June 11-14 at the OccuNet Classic in Amarillo, Texas, then moves to the Memorial Health Championship in Springfield, Illinois, from June 25-28.

From there, players will head to Glenview, Illinois, for the Evans Scholars Invitational on July 23-26 before the series wraps up Oct. 1-4 at the Compliance Solutions Championship in Owasso, Oklahoma.

Points earned during those four tournaments will decide the Route 66 Cup standings.

When the final stop ends in Oklahoma, the player at the top of the list will claim the title and the biggest payday from the bonus fund.

First place will receive $66,000, while second place is worth $22,500 and third place will earn $11,500.

That format gives the Korn Ferry Tour something different in 2026: a mini race within the regular season that rewards consistency over multiple events instead of one hot week.

It also gives golf fans another reason to track the standings as players battle for position during the summer and into the fall.

Tour officials see the competition as a way to blend pro golf with one of America’s most recognizable roadways.

By placing all four events in cities connected to Route 66, the Tour is leaning into a mix of sports, travel, and history.

For players chasing PGA Tour cards and bigger checks, the Route 66 Cup adds another meaningful prize to an already pressure-packed Korn Ferry Tour season.
