Phil Mickelson is reportedly out at The Farms Golf Club after an allegation of misconduct, adding another jarring twist to his turbulent LIV-era absence.

Phil Mickelson is back in the headlines, but not for anything happening inside the ropes.

According to a Golf Digest report, Mickelson is no longer a member of The Farms Golf Club in the San Diego area after a female employee accused the six-time major champion of inappropriate conduct at the club earlier this spring.

The club confirmed to the outlet that Mickelson’s membership has ended, though it did not publicly name him in its statement.

The allegation, as reported, centers on an incident before a round of golf.

Golf Digest reported that a female staff member accused Mickelson of making nonconsensual, inappropriate physical contact with her at the clubhouse. The employee reportedly notified club supervisors after the alleged encounter.

The Farms Golf Club told Golf Digest it responded after receiving a staff member report involving member misconduct.

The club said it provided support to the employee, conducted an independent investigation and took action. It also said the individual involved is no longer a member.

That’s a massive development involving one of the most recognizable names in modern golf.

Mickelson has long been tied to the San Diego golf scene, and The Farms was reportedly a place he had played for decades.

Per the report, club officials confronted Mickelson during his round after the allegation was raised and told him to leave the property.

He reportedly exited before finishing.

Mickelson, 55, has already been mostly absent from the golf spotlight this season.

The LIV Golf member has played in just one of the league’s nine completed events, finishing T48 in South Africa in late March.

He later announced on April 2 that he would miss the Masters and step away for an extended period while his family dealt with a personal health matter.

Now, instead of talk about a return to competition, the conversation has shifted to a serious off-course allegation and a club relationship that appears to be over.

For Mickelson, this is another sharp turn in a career that has seen wild highs, public controversy and a complicated final chapter since his move to LIV Golf.

He remains a six-time major winner and one of the most influential golfers of his generation, but this latest report puts him under a very different kind of scrutiny.

The situation also raises bigger questions about accountability inside private clubs, especially when allegations involve powerful members and staff employees.

For now, The Farms has taken its action.

Mickelson’s side of the story has not yet fully entered the public record. And golf is left with another uncomfortable Phil Mickelson headline.
