The 2026 RBC Canadian Open field is missing Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, but Collin Morikawa could be the dangerous value play.
The 2026 RBC Canadian Open arrives at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley with a weird but fascinating setup.
The biggest names aren’t all here, but the board is still loaded with danger.

With Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy sitting out after last week’s Signature Event and ahead of the U.S. Open, this week has a different feel. It’s less superstar showcase and more knife fight.
That might make the 2026 RBC Canadian Open odds even more interesting for PGA Tour betting, DFS lineups and One and Done picks.
Tommy Fleetwood and Matt Fitzpatrick enter as co-favorites at +1200, while Sam Burns follows at +1500.
Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark are both sitting in the +2200 range, creating one of the more intriguing value pockets on the board.
Fleetwood has been knocking on the door, and Fitzpatrick’s precision game always makes him dangerous when scoring conditions require control. But the number that jumps off the page is Morikawa.
SportsLine’s projection model is reportedly high on Morikawa, and it’s not hard to see why.
He hasn’t been quite as sharp in recent starts, but earlier this season he looked like one of the hottest players on the PGA Tour.
Morikawa won at Pebble Beach in February and followed that by finishing T7 or better in five straight events. In a field without Scheffler or McIlroy, that kind of ball-striking ceiling matters.
Burns, meanwhile, looks like the name to question. He nearly won this tournament last year before losing in a playoff, which explains why oddsmakers are giving him respect at +1500.
Still, his recent results don’t exactly scream automatic contender. Burns has only three top-10 finishes this season and has landed outside the top 15 in four of his last five starts.
That doesn’t mean he can’t win. It does mean the price feels aggressive.
The deeper odds board has plenty of chaos potential. Brooks Koepka and Robert MacIntyre are both at +2500, while Justin Rose, Shane Lowry and Kristoffer Reitan sit at +3000.
Viktor Hovland and Nicolai Højgaard at +3300 could also make noise if the putter cooperates.
For Canadian fans, Nick Taylor and Corey Conners will draw attention, though both come with different prices and pressure.
This week might not have the biggest names in golf. It still has plenty of teeth.
