The Los Angeles Angels have made their intentions clear over the past month and a half, letting go of numerous members of the organization along with major-league-ready talent.

Following a slew of roster moves ahead of the Major League Baseball trade deadline, the Los Angeles Angels made another shakeup.

First, looking back at the deadline, the Angels traded away catcher Logan O'Hoppe, right-handers José Soriano, Kirby Yates, Ryan Zeferjahn, Chase Silseth left-hander Brent Suter and outfielder Jo Adell.

In return, Los Angeles received a plethora of minor leaguers in an attempt to bolster the club's farm system and potentially see the majors in the coming years.

The results of this organizational change had a direct impact, with Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter's farm system ranking seeing the Angels take a significant jump.

Ahead of the deadline, Los Angeles was placed No. 29, almost last in the league. Now, Reuter has the club at No. 18.

Just a week after the trade deadline, though, the Angels made yet another massive change in the franchise.

ESPN's Jeff Passan reported Tuesday morning that Los Angeles had fired pitching coach Greg Maddux, assistant pitching coach Darryl Scott and their bullpen coach, Dom Chiti.

The Angels are clearly taking their rebuild seriously, cleaning house at the major league level and even releasing a good chunk of the staff.

Lucas and Bob discuss all of the trades made before the deadline and go in depth on the Angels' rebuild, including a breakdown of the prospects that Los Angeles received in the many trades made just last week.

The transactions made above were all co-signed by interim general manager John Mozeliak, who took over for Perry Minasian who was canned at the tail end of June.

All in all, the Angels have had one of the largest organizational shake-ups possibly in the league's history, between Minasian, the pitching coaches, and the trades made before the deadline.

With Mozeliak at the helm since the end of June, and owner Arte Moreno allowing the interim GM to make these moves, there are still questions about how he'll proceed with the Angels in the future.

Moreno has yet to name Mozeliak as the official GM, but it's safe to say he's a great fit for the role after carrying out the vision of a rebuild.

Looking at the moves that weren't made, shortstop Zach Neto will remain in Anaheim for the time being, along with southpaw Reid Detmers, both of whom were widely expected to be shipped out.

Bob and Lucas discuss what the logic behind keeping those two in Los Angeles was and debate whether the potential MLB lockout had anything to do with it.
