In the end, the Guardians came back to win, 8-6, in extra innings in Southern California.

Vaughn Grissom hit a two-run home run in the first. Christian Moore hit his first home run of the season in the second, and both Denzer Guzman and Zach Neto had RBI knocks to extend the lead to 5-0.
Then the Guardians - led by a ferocious effort from Jose Ramirez - took over.
The Guardians scored three in the fourth, two in the fifth, and one in the sixth to tie it up and send it to extra innings.
In the 10th, Ramirez had a go-ahed, two-run double, and the veteran finished the game with three hits (all doubles) and five RBIs.
Walbert Urena started the game for the Angels, and he went 3.2 innings, allowing three runs on five hits.
Gavin Williams got the start for Cleveland, but he didn't last long, throwing just 1.1 inning with five runs on six hits before being taken out.
In total, the Guardians used six pitchers after Williams, and it was Erik Sabrowski who earned the victory.
The Angels also used quite a few bullpen arms with six pitchers total, including Urena. It was Blake Weiman who was hit with the loss as he allowed two hits and two runs - one earned.
Jo Adell, who was traded by the Angels to the Guardians at the deadline, went hitless in five at-bats on Tuesday after going 1-for-3 with an RBI on Monday.
Mike Trout nearly gave the Angels the lead in the eighth. He hit a long fly ball to center, but Angel Ramirez made a highlight-reel catch to keep the score tied at six.
It marked the third straight loss for the Angels, although the offense got off to a strong start before things unraveled a bit, and Jose Ramirez led the way for Cleveland with a huge night at the plate.
The Angels and Guardians will conclude the series on Wednesday afternoon. It will be Joey Cantillo (9-7, 3.73 ERA) for Cleveland with Grayson Rodriguez (4-5, 6.41 ERA) taking the mound for LA.
The Angels will then have a day off on Thursday before traveling east to take on the Philadelphia Phillies.
