Isaac Paredes came through with a solo homer in the eighth to tie it and keep the Astros competitive. The game went to extras tied at 3-3.

The Astros clinched the season series against Detroit at 4-2. At this point, the wins are starting to feel less like a fluke and more like a trend. This is the momentum they desperately needed before the season got away from them.
