Spencer Arrighetti made his second start of the season and once again delivered. After the pitching struggles the Houston Astros have already endured early this season, what they are getting from Arrighetti is exactly what they need.

Once again, Arrighetti gave the Astros at least five innings, something that has not always been easy to come by from this rotation so far. More importantly, he helped keep stress off the bullpen and did exactly what Houston needed.

Arrighetti stayed in control and limited damage when Cleveland had chances. That was all Houston needed to collect the win.

That consistency will be key as Houston continues to look for stability from its starting rotation early this season.

Next up, Arrighetti faces a tough test against the New York Yankees. Aaron Judge and Ben Rice, both among the league leaders in home runs, will present a major challenge. If Arrighetti can stay poised and execute on the mound, another strong outing could be on the way.

A strong start to his season continues to build momentum as Houston looks to stabilize its rotation in the weeks ahead.
