The Blue Jays actually don't have a first-round pick in 2026, but here's a look at who they've taken since 2000.

The MLB Draft kicks off on Saturday afternoon (1 p.m. ET) in Philadelphia, and the Toronto Blue Jays will be like every other team in baseball: Trying to find impact talent to infuse into its farm system.

However, the Jays will have a harder time doing that than most, as they'll enter the draft with the 29th-most slot money available to them.

Also, after spending above the CBT's second threshold, the Jays don't have a first-round pick. Instead, they won't be picking until No. 39 overall.

That said, the draft is the lifeblood of all organizations, so Toronto will have to do what it can to get creative.
