Ronald Acuna Jr. exited Saturday's game with a hamstring injury.

The Atlanta Braves are playing the Colorado Rockies on Saturday night. Ronald Acuna Jr. exited the game early with an apparent injury, however. The Braves later announced that the star outfielder left the matchup due to left hamstring tightness.

Acuna has dealt with injury concerns in the past. This specific injury is something Atlanta will certainly closely monitor. Hamstring injuries can often be unpredictable, so it remains to be seen if Acuna will have to miss a significant amount of time.

Injuries have been a problem for the ball club through the season. The last thing they need is a star such as Acuna to miss a lot of time.

Acuna, 28, entered Saturday's contest with a slash line of .248/.360/.376. He had also hit two home runs in 33 games played.

The Braves have upset expectations so far this season. Yet, Acuna has not played up to his expectations. Atlanta is at the top of the National League East standings despite already dealing with multiple injuries as mentioned.

Nevertheless, Acuna is one of the best players in the game when healthy. The Braves are unquestionably hopeful that he avoided a serious injury concern on Saturday.

The team will continue to monitor and provide updates on Ronald Acuna Jr.'s injury status as they are made available.

Braves Continue Series With Rockies

The Braves and Rockies began their series on Friday night. Atlanta earned an 8-6 victory in the win. It was a tremendous way to begin the team's nine-game road trip.

The Braves currently lead the Rockies 3-1 in Saturday's contest. However, there is still plenty of baseball left to be played.

Atlanta entered the game with a 23-10 overall record. The ball club holds a seven-game lead in the National League East. Not only is Atlanta performing at a high level, but every other ball club in the division is under .500 as of this story' writing.

Meanwhile, the Rockies are currently 14-19 and in fourth place in the National League West standings. They have had some good moments early in the season despite their overall underwhelming record.

Following Saturday night's matchup, the Braves will play another game in Colorado on Sunday before continuing their road trip in Seattle and Los Angeles against the Mariners and Dodgers. Sunday's game will begin at 3:10 PM EST.

Meanwhile, the Braves will monitor and provide updates on Acuna's injury status as mentioned.
