Ronald Acuna Jr. is working hard to return from injury.
Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr. is working his way back from a hamstring injury. While he is not expected to be activated during the team's current homestand, it does seem as if Acuna could return fairly soon. The Braves star shared an encouraging update on Thursday, via Jesús Cano of The Athletic.
"I feel good," Acuna said in Spanish. "Doing all the things the trainers are telling me to do so I can get back to the field as soon as possible."
The Braves are proceeding with caution when it comes to Acuna's return from injury. They do not want to rush him back too soon.
Acuna was hitting .252/.362/.378 across 34 games played before suffering the injury. He had two home runs, eight doubles and seven stolen bases as well. Acuna always makes a significant impact, and the Braves are hopeful that he can return sooner rather than later.
The team will continue to monitor and provide updates on Ronald Acuna Jr.'s injury status as they are made available.
Braves' 2026 Season
