Check out the latest episode of The Roundtable Rundown Show, as Joey Mistretta talks about the Braves, Phillies and more.

The latest episode of The Roundtable Rundown Show is live, as host Joey Mistretta talks about the Atlanta Braves' starting pitching injuries, Bryce Harper's latest comments, Zac Gallen returning to the Arizona Diamondbacks and Roman Anthony potentially replacing Corbin Carroll on Team USA's World Baseball Classic roster.

Braves' Injuries

It was recently announced that Spencer Schwellenbach and Hurston Waldrep are both dealing with elbow injuries. While neither pitcher has an official injury timeline yet, Schwellenbach is expected to miss a significant amount of time. Meanwhile, the Braves will find out more about Waldrep's injury in the next few days.

The Braves' current rotation is expected to include Chris Sale, Spencer Strider, Reynaldo Lopez and Grant Holmes. Signing another starter -- perhaps Lucas Giolito or Walker Buehler -- could prove to be the best move. Atlanta's rotation is dealing with serious uncertainty, and making an addition is necessary.

Bryce Harper's Comments

After the 2025 campaign, Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski said Bryce Harper did not have an "elite" '25 season. The comments gained traction and fans wondered what Harper would have to say about the situation.

He recently commented, admitting that the situation was "kind of wild." Harper clearly was not a fan of the comments.

The Phillies will hope that the situation does not become a distraction as they look to win their first World Series since 2008.

Zac Gallen Returns to Diamondbacks

Gallen is back!

The pitcher declined the Diamondbacks' $22.025 million qualifying offer early in the offseason to test free agency. Gallen seemingly did not receive a multi-year offer that he wanted, though, so he re-signed with the Diamondbacks on a one-year, $22.025 million deal.

At the very least, he did not lose any money with his qualifying offer decision. It was still likely a frustrating offseason for him. His 2025 performance was lackluster, however. If he can bounce back in 2026, Gallen should receive a respectable multi-year deal.

Will Roman Anthony Replace Corbin Carroll in WBC?

Anthony is expected to replace Carroll -- who recently suffered a broken hamate -- on Team USA's World Baseball Classic roster. For Carroll, the injury is unfortunate as he won't be able to play in the WBC. Anthony will attempt to make an impact on the roster, assuming he is indeed officially added.
