Murphy, at some point this season, might sit down with Brewers management to discuss his future with the ballclub.

If Brewers president of baseball operations Matt Arnold doesn't give Murphy a nice deal, then the ballclub needs to have its collective minds examined.

Murphy has been important to the continuing improvement of the on-field efforts.

He deserves to get a nice deal.
