Hey, Milwaukee Brewers fans, are you ready to see your team score 22 runs again on Wednesday night? Anything is possible for the Brewers. They were smashing baseballs left and right on Tuesday night, pounding the Seattle Mariners 22-0. Dustin May goes to the mound for the Brewers and he'll face Logan Gilbert of the Mariners.

Someone Needs to Wake Up Brewers
Sure, the Milwaukee Brewers are in first place in the National League Central Division. They are looking good, even stylin' and profilin' like Ric Flair back in the day. Still, the Brewers put up a stinker of a loss on Tuesday night. They need to get their collective stuff together after allowing double-digit runs to the San Deigo Padres. Like, wake up fellas. Let's see if they can right their ship on Wednesday.

Brewers Sitting Good in First Place
It might sound like a broken record, but the Milwaukee Brewers are looking good in first place in the National League Central Division. Entering play on Wednesday, the Brewers lead the second-place Chicago Cubs by 5.5 games. Pittsburgh, St. Louis, and Cincinnati are double-digit games behind, so they're not going to reach postseason play. Once again, Brewers manager Pat Murphy has his team aimed at getting into the postseason once again. This season, he hopes that they can make it all the way to the World Series.

Patrick, Brewers Slide Past Angels
The Milwaukee Brewers have a lot of reasons to keep piling up victories to maintain their lead in the National League Central Division. The Los Angeles Angels are just trying to get to the end of this season and board a boat to Cancun. Chad Patrick worked two innings in relief and Jake Bauers hit his 20th home run this season as the Brewers beat the Angels 3-1 in Anaheim, Calif., on Saturday night. Patrick, now 6-4 this season, came on for Brewers manager Pat Murphy after five innings from starter Robert Gasser. Gasser allowed four hits, one earned run, walked two, and struck out six. Trevor Megill earned his 18th save.

Not a Good Day at the park for Brew Crew
Sheesh, the Milwaukee Brewers were getting hammered by the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday afternoon at Oracle Park by the San Francisco Bay. Maybe the Brewers are going to leave their hearts in San Francisco, too, but Wednesday's game wasn't going according to their plans. In the top of the seventh inning, the Giants held a 10-2 lead over the Brew Crew. Games like these are ones that manager Pat Murphy might go over in his head as the National League Central Division leaders continue on this season. One might expect the Brewers to be looking for some pitching at the MLB Trade Deadline.

Is Freddy Peralta Really Coming Back?
Maybe Milwaukee Brewers fans weren't expecting chatter about Freddy Peralta returning to American Family Field as a Brewer again. Yet, there are some whispers floating around as the MLB Trade Deadline nears on Aug. 3 that Peralta just might get shipped off by the New York Mets back to Milwaukee. It's not been a good season for Freddy with the Mets' organization. And, well, the Brewers need some good starting pitchers as they look to reach postseason play. Is Peralta really coming back to Milwaukee? All we can do is wait and see.

Brewers Aim for Series Win Over Mets
The Milwaukee Brewers have split their first two games against the New York Mets. On Wednesday, these two teams are going to see who picks up the series victory. Logan Henderson, who is 3-1 overall and has a 2.97 ERA, draws the start from Brewers manager Pat Murphy at American Family Field in Milwaukee. The Mets will counter with Christian Scott, who is 3-1 with a 2.87 ERA. It looks like two pitchers who have pretty close equal statistics will see if one can get the edge over the other one. Milwaukee will have a day off on Thursday before opening a three-game weekend series with the Colorado Rockies at American Family Field.

Brewers Hold Healthy NL Central Lead
The Milwaukee Brewers will enter the All-Star break with a healthy lead in the National League Central Division. Heading into Wednesday's games, the Brewers are seven games up on the second-place Chicago Cubs. The St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Cincinnati Reds are all 10-plus games behind Milwaukee. If the Brew Crew can keep up this level of play into the season's second half, then get ready to buy your MLB playoff tickets, Brewers fans.

Report: Brewers Putting Stop on Quinn Priester Rehab
Brewers pitcher Quinn Priester reportedly is getting a halt from his rehabilitation work. Priester, according to MLB Trade Rumors, Priester struggled on Monday in a start in the Arizona Complex League, walking five hitters in 2.2 innings while surrendering three earned runs. He also uncorked three wild pitches. Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Priester was “without physical complaint,” so the pause isn’t the result of a new injury.
