Milwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Frank Cairone has been hospitalized after being involved in a car accident.
The Brewers put out a statement about the 18-year-old Cairone on Saturday night.
"Frank is currently being cared for at a hospital in New Jersey with the support of his family," according to a statement from the ballclub, MLB.com reported. "The Brewers’ thoughts and prayers are with Frank and his family during his difficult time."
According to the MLB.com article, Cairone is a left-hander who was drafted out of Delsea Regional High School in Franklinville, N.J. at No. 68 overall in the 2025 Draft, a compensatory selection for unsigned 2024 Draft pick Chris Levonas.
