Milwaukee Brewers prospect Andrew Fischer had a lot of good things to say about his team.
As a small-market team, the Milwaukee Brewers have not had the luxury of pursuing big free agents with large sums of money. Instead, they have shined in the development of talent through their minor-league systems.
Players like Jacob Misiorowski, Jackson Chourio and Brice Turang have been among the young talents to rise through Milwaukee's minor-league ranks onto its MLB roster, and the Brewers currently have baseball’s No. 1 prospect in Jesus Made.
One such player in the Brewers’ system is Andrew Fischer, who was the team’s 20th overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft. Currently, Fischer is with Double-A Biloxi, and he recently made an appearance on Foul Territory TV, where he lauded the talent within the system.
"I've never been around so many guys in the same clubhouse, even though, like I said, like I played on teams, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Duke, great players, great prospects, players that are being successful right now in the big leagues were on those teams," Fischer said. "I've never been around a clubhouse at each level, not just like, oh, that was just in, you know, Wisconsin at the High-A team.
"The talent in these clubhouses is unmatched," Fischer added. 'It's unreal. Every guy we have here, I could go on and on and on."
Fischer, 22, started the season with High-A Wisconsin before making his way to Biloxi on June 15. In his first game with the Schuckers on Wednesday, Fischer hit a home run.
"If you ask me about each individual guy," Fischer said. "I mean, we have the number one prospect in baseball, Jesus Made, hitting in our cage, and you wouldn't even know he's our number one guy because we have 17 other guys that are getting in the same work as him.
"If you watch them all play, you'd be like, 'Guy's a hell of a ball player,'" he added. "So like, the talent in here is unreal."
To Fischer, the environment created by the organization lends to the strong development of its players.
"I think that's why the Brewers do such a good job at developing their guys is they put you in environments where you're literally competing every day with the best of the best," Fischer said. "So getting a chance to take batting practice with six other guys that are highly touted players every day, for me, is going to make my batting practice sharper.
"It's going to make my in-game rep sharper," Fischer added. "It's going to make our communication on the field sharper. It's honestly really special what they have over here. So I'm grateful for the opportunity that they've given me to play with these guys."
