Milwaukee Brewers' Andrew Fischer capped a historic first full professional season by earning a spot on MLB Pipeline's All-MiLB Prospect First Team.

Andrew Fischer's remarkable 2026 season has earned another major recognition.

The Milwaukee Brewers third-base prospect was selected to MLB Pipeline's All-MiLB Prospect First Team after putting together one of the most productive minor-league seasons in recent memory.

Fischer, Milwaukee's first-round pick in the 2025 MLB Draft, quickly established himself as one of the most dangerous power hitters in the minors during his first full professional season.

The left-handed hitter finished the regular season with a .273/.413/.654 slash line across 126 games between High-A and Double-A. He launched 48 home runs, drove in 114 runs, and scored 107 times while also drawing 102 walks.

Fischer puts on power display

His power was the defining feature of his breakout campaign.

Fischer's 48 regular-season home runs were the most by a minor-league player since 1982, putting his season in rare historical company. He added two more homers during the postseason, bringing his overall total to 50.

Beyond the home run production, Fischer consistently created opportunities to reach base. His 102 walks helped him finish the season with a .413 on-base percentage, while his .654 slugging percentage reflected the damage he was able to do when making contact.

His production also translated as he moved up the Brewers' farm system.

Fischer began the season in the Midwest League before advancing to Double-A, where he continued to produce against more experienced competition. Rather than slowing down after his promotion, he remained one of the organization's most productive offensive players.

Solid approach by Brewers' prospect

He finished the regular season with a 1.066 OPS, the highest mark among qualified full-season minor leaguers, further illustrating how dominant his offensive campaign was.

Fischer's approach also separated him from many of the other power hitters in the Minors. He combined his ability to hit for significant power with a willingness to work deep into at-bats, producing both home runs and walks at a high rate.

Defensively, Fischer split time between third base and first base, giving Milwaukee additional flexibility as it continues to develop him.

The Brewers have quickly seen Fischer emerge as one of the organization's most intriguing young hitters. After being selected in the first round in 2025, he followed that selection with a season that placed him among the most productive prospects in all of Minor League Baseball.

MLB Pipeline's First Team recognition adds another distinction to a season already filled with them.

Fischer's 50 total home runs, 114 regular-season RBIs and more than 100 walks demonstrated the type of offensive impact he can provide. Now, after dominating across two levels in 2026, he enters the offseason with his stock significantly elevated within Milwaukee's farm system.
