Milwaukee Brewers' Andrew Fischer’s historic 42-homer season reached a fever pitch after a dominant three-blast performance.

The Milwaukee Brewers minor league system is the best in all of baseball, and that's even with them trading away two key prospects at the trade deadline.

In order to acquire starter Dustin May and reliever JoJo Romero, Milwaukee had to give up ranked outfield prospects, Alexander Frias and Josiah Ragsdale.

Clearly, it hasn't affected them in the slightest.

Andrew Fischer, someone who's been about Double-A for a little bit now, just had a three-home-run night in a statement performance that proved he could be ready for the show.

Fischer is up to 42 home runs this season, a number that is truly hard to fathom.

On Thursday, Aug. 27, he hit a two-run shot in the third inning, another two-run homer in the fifth, and then added a solo home run in the seventh inning.

Could Fischer Skip Triple-A?

It doesn't happen often, but is there a world where the Brewers have Fischer be a September call-up and skip Triple-A Nashville altogether?

That would be a bold move, to say the least, but the Brewers' Player Development account recently touted his success, and it's hard to put into words just how incredible their 2025 first-round draft pick has been.

Fischer now has the most home runs by a hitter at any level of professional baseball this season.

If that's not enough, he also has the most home runs by a minor league hitter since 2014, and he's currently tied for 15th on the all-time MiLB home run leaderboard.

Getting his 40th of the year in the third inning was impressive, but he added two more homers in the next four innings, all of which had an exit velocity at 100+ mph.

The former Tennessee Volunteers infielder is just 22-years-old and is proving he's ready to take the world by storm.

Milwaukee's decision to take him No. 20 overall last year could be a move that set this franchise up for a power surge as they've never seen before.

Remember, this is a Brewers team that's top two home run hitters combine for just 42 homers themselves.

Yes, Andrew Fischer has more home runs this season than Jake Bauers and Jackson Chourio combined.

Bauers, who leads the team with 23 homers, could be combined with a few other Brewers and still not have as many homers as Fischer has this season.

To further prove that point, Fischer's 43 home runs are five more than Brice Turang, William Contreras, and Christian Yelich have combined.
