Kyle Harrison and Jacob Misiorowski are shattering expectations for Milwaukee Brewers, delivering historic sub-2.00 ERAs and blistering strikeout rates to achieve a feat unseen in modern baseball history.

Going back to 1913, no MLB team has had two starting pitchers with a sub-2.00 ERA and 11.00-plus K/9 at the end of any day in June or later.

Kyle Harrison's latest start for the Milwaukee Brewers came on June 2, a date that helped him and Jacob Misiorowski set a record that has been set since ERA became official in 1913.

OptaSTATS announced the record, one that game after Harrison helped guide the Brewers to victory against his former team, the San Francisco Giants.

What Harrison and Misiorowski have done is absolutely remarkable, and it's hard to put into words just how dominate these two have been. If this record doesn't put it into perspective, who knows what will.

Brewers Pitchers Are Best in 113 Years

Sure, it's only June 3, but that doesn't change the fact Harrison and Miz are off to an incredible historic start. It's crazy to think Miz is a Cy Young candidate with his 1.65 ERA and 13.69 K/9 while Harrison, who has a 1.57 ERA and 11.46 K/9, is nowhere near the conversation.

Misiorowski is a flamethrower and his 100-plus mph pitches have set him apart in this league. As for Harrison, he's on his third team in the last few years but has clearly found a home in Milwaukee. Both should be All-Stars come July 14 in Philadelphia, barring any crazy fall from grace that could happen within the next month.

Either way, these two are the latest installments of the pitching lab Chris Hook and Pat Murphy have compiled. No one expected Harrison to be this good, and even coming off an All-Star season, Misiorowski continues to defy every expectation thrown his way.

88 Combined Strikeouts and 4 Runs Allowed in May

These numbers don't seem real, but somehow they are. Of the four runs allowed, Misirowski gave up his on May 25 against the St. Louis Cardinals while Harrison gave up a pair against the New York Yankees and one against the Washington Nationals.

Of the 88 strikeouts, Miz had 57 of them. His month of May saw three games with 10+ strikeouts, and he didn't finish a single game with fewer than eight strikeouts. His K/9 is astonishing, to say the least, and it's overshadowed all of the great things Harrison has done with the team.

Arguably the scariest part is both of these players are just 24 years old and haven't slowed down in the slightest.
