In total, eight Milwaukee Brewers hitters drove in runs during the team's 10-1 World Series victory.
The saying “there’s no I in team” has never been more evident than with the 2026 Milwaukee Brewers.
No players have an ego that gets in their way. This was seen with Chad Patrick’s reaction to not making the World Series roster, and Trevor Megill’s comments after manager Pat Murphy kept Aaron Ashby in as the Game 2 closer.
After a dominant 10-1 win at Tropicana Field, the Brewers are one win away from winning their first-ever World Series title.
Their Game 3 effort against the Tampa Bay Rays was a true team effort, and while there were some individual heroes, the fifth inning was the most unified a team has ever looked in the World Series.
Jackson Chourio
At this point, Jackson Chourio is locked into the leadoff spot for his entire MLB career. The 22-year-old went 4-for-5 with an RBI and a pair of runs.
Chourio also recorded his third stolen base of the postseason, which further proves how valuable he is not just at the plate, but when he gets on base.
Christian Yelich
Who drove in the first run of the game? None other than the Brewers' first-ever captain.
Yelich, who came into this postseason without a playoff RBI since 2018, is up to five in these playoffs. Prior to being pulled for Andrew Vaughn, Yelich went 2-for-3 with a run, an RBI, and a walk.
William Contreras
Exactly one pitch after Yelich drove in Chourio, William Contreras drove in Jake Bauers. It was another flawless night behind the plate for Contreras, and he continues to rake as he went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored.
Brice Turang
With two outs, the bases loaded, and a new left-handed pitcher in the game, Brice Turang wasn’t fazed.
Turang drove in a pair of runs to make this a 4-0 game, but he had no idea he would be the reason why an eight-run inning would transpire.
As part of a three-hit night, Turang got his postseason batting average up to .263, and he now has four RBIs.
Garrett Mitchell
One left-on-left hit wasn't enough, so Garrett Mitchell got in on the party with his RBI single just one pitch after Turang got the best of Cam Booser.
Cooper Pratt
Somehow, the rookie did it again. One pitch after Mitchell's single, Cooper Pratt had a double of his own, which would score Turang and Mitchell.
Sal Frelick
The hit parade continued as Sal Frelick won a five-pitch battle against Booser. Frelick's double would score the man who doubled just moments before him.
David Hamilton
Even with Cole Sluser coming into the game, David Hamilton wasn't going to let that get to him. Hamilton knew he wanted to join the party, and he did just that with a single to center field that would score Frelick.
