The Milwaukee Brewers utilized aggressive baserunning and timely extra-base hits to topple the Cincinnati Reds.

The Milwaukee Brewers are dead last with 131 home runs this season.

Jake Bauers and Jackson Chourio have given this team a ton of power here in 2026, but it's worth noting that those are their only two players with 20+ homers this year.

Brice Turang has 17, William Contreras has 13, and then backup catcher Gary Sanchez has 11, while Christian Yelich's 10 make him the only other player in double digits.

This is not a team that relies on the home run ball, but it's crazy to think that the team that is 30th in the league in terms of home runs has the best record in all of baseball.

Once again, the Brewers proved why when they defeated the Cincinnati Reds, 10-7, in a game that didn't see them hit a single homer.

Four-RBI night for Cooper Pratt

Cooper Pratt is someone the Brewers took a chance on as they offered him a long-term extension before he ever stepped foot in the majors.

Pratt has settled in, to say the least, as seen with his base-clearing triple that put the Brewers back on top in a wild game against their division rival.

The 22-year-old led his team with four RBIs on a night where Turang, who was moved way down in the lineup, had three himself.

Manager Pat Murphy knows how important it is to shuffle the lineup for whoever has the hot hand, and while Pratt has almost always batted eighth, he still is able to do his job and drive in runs, even though he only has three homers since making his debut on Tuesday, June 16.

Turang got back on track

After a brutal series against the Chicago Cubs, one that called for Turang to get a day off, Murphy moved him down to the sixth spot in the lineup.

Depending on who's pitching and who's hot, Turang has been the leadoff guy or tends to bat second. To see him bat sixth was a bit alarming, but Murphy always does it with everyone's best intentions in mind.

Turang crushed his 30th double of the season en route to a three-hit, three-RBI night.

It marked the first time he's batted lower than third all season, but notably was his second three-RBI game since Monday, June 8, so clearly the move paid off in a big way.

This is a game that saw the Brewers hit four doubles and two triples, and it's crazy to think they had 18 at-bats against the Reds with a runner in scoring position.
