Milwaukee Brewers Gold Glove winners Jackson Chourio and Brice Turang join Jake Bauers as Silver Slugger finalists.

An expected trio of Milwaukee Brewers hitters have been named National League Silver Slugger finalists.

Jake Bauers will have not one, but two chances to win it as he's listed as both a first baseman and fits into the utility category.

Gold Glove Award winner Jackson Chourio fits into the outfield category, and fellow Gold Glove winner Brice Turang is in contention to win at second base.

Turang doesn't have nearly as much competition as Bauers or Chourio, so it'll be interesting to see how the NL MVP finalist fares in his category.

Brewers could have three Silver Sluggers

Does it seem like the Brewers will end up with three winners on Tuesday, Nov. 17? No, but that doesn't mean they won't have any winners at all.

Bauers is going up against Alex Burleson, Rafael Devers, and Matt Olson at first base. It's going to be incredibly hard for him to compete against the late-season power surge from Devers, and then the other two are still good enough to give him a run for his money.

When it comes to his position as a utility man, that puts Bauers up against Sal Stewart and Fernando Tatis Jr.

Once again, neither of those are the most favorable matchups, but Bauers will gladly take having two chances to be named a Silver Slugger.

For Bauers’ sake, winning this award could give him more incentive to decline his qualifying offer and pursue an even bigger deal in free agency.

Turang has the most favorable odds, by far, as his only competition is Brandon Lowe. For reference, Turang is coming off his first 100 RBI season while Lowe had 96 himself.

With 35 homers, that gives Lowe a bit of an edge, though the second base race will be an extremely tight one.

Finally, Chourio sees himself competing against Pete Crow-Armstrong, Corbin Carroll, Seiya Suzuki, Jordan Walker, James Wood, and Tatis Jr.

Those odds also aren't the best for the Brewers 22-year-old superstar, especially seeing MVP frontrunner PCA in the same conversation.

Chourio is undoubtedly one of the best Brewers hitters on the team, but that doesn't mean his numbers are good enough to compete with the rest of the NL.

All-in-all, it was an incredible season for this Brewers team, and even if they don't have a Silver Slugger, life will go on.

The Brewers are fresh off winning their first-ever World Series championship, so it doesn't get any bigger or better than that.
