Manager Pat Murphy is banking on continuity for this National League Championship Series rematch against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Milwaukee Brewers loved what they did in the National League Division Series, and they've decided to run it back in the National League Championship Series.

Milwaukee will host the Los Angeles Dodgers for the first two games of the 2026 NLCS, a series that is a rematch of the 2025 version.

Brewers fans haven't forgotten about being swept by the Dodgers a year ago. Now, with yet another trip to the World Series on the line, the Brewers have announced their NLCS roster.

If manager Pat Murphy's roster doesn't look any different, that's because it's not. Milwaukee will once again carry 13 pitchers and 13 position players in the series, and not a single player has been removed from the lineup.

Remember, the pitching trio of Chad Patrick, Kyle Harrison, and Shane Drohan didn't pitch in a single game during the NLDS, so it'll be interesting to see how they are used now that this becomes a best-of-seven series.

Brewers don't make any roster moves

In a 162-game regular season, teams are making roster moves left and right. Injuries happen far too often, and that was especially the case with this Brewers bullpen and rotation in 2026.

Thankfully, they were not only able to enjoy the first-round bye, but also a huge three days off before Game 1 of the NLCS.

While yes, the Dodgers also had the exact same amount of rest, they're the ones who are stuck traveling to American Family Field to open this series.

Some would say the Brewers are playing it safe by using this same roster, but what other moves would they make?

The Dodgers made a move as they swapped Hyeseong Kim for Justin Wrobleski, but trading an infielder for a pitcher makes sense, and that's something the Brewers didn't have to worry about as they already had 13 pitchers on the roster.

In total, the Brewers have six infielders, five outfielders, and two catchers on the roster. There was a chance they'd add catcher Bo Naylor for a little extra depth or speed on the basepaths, but Murphy wasn't going to take any chances by removing Drohan, Harrison, or Patrick.

Starting rotation-wise, Jacob Misiorowski will have Game 1 while Logan Henderson gets Game 2 and then Robert Gasser seems destined to start Game 3.

Milwaukee has Dustin May, who could start Game 4, but this is where things get extremely interesting as there are potentially three straight games at Dodger Stadium from Wednesday, Oct. 14 to Friday, Oct. 16.
