One of the biggest trade acquisitions of the offseason for the St. Louis Cardinals was top 100 pitching prospect Jurrangelo Cijntje, who the team acquired in a three-team deal with the Seattle Mariners and Tampa Bay Rays that sent 2025 All-Star Brendan Donovan to the Mariners.

Cijntje arrived to the Cardinals' spring training facility in Jupiter, Fla., and threw his first official bullpen for St. Louis.
