The 2026 World Baseball Classic roster will take place during spring training.
The Cardinals are only reported to have one representative in the '26 WBC (catcher Ivan Herrera for Panama), but a former team legend will help guide Team USA as it looks to reclaim the gold.
Matt Holliday, who played with St. Louis from 2009-16 and helped the team to a World Series title in 2011, will be Team USA's hitting coach for the international tournament.
Across his 15-season MLB career (2004-18), Holliday posted a total slash line of .299/.379/.510 with an .889 OPS. He hit 468 total doubles, 32 triples and 316 home runs with 1,220 RBIs.
How do you feel about Holliday's role on Team USA this upcoming WBC?
