The St. Louis Cardinals added to their bullpen depth on Tuesday and claimed left-handed reliever Luis Peralta off waivers from the Colorado Rockies. The Cardinals option Peralta to the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds.

Peralta has made 22 appearances this season with the Rockies. He has a 9.47  ERA and has struck out 16 batters in 19 innings pitched.
