Who would you rather trade?

There is a rumor that the Chicago Cubs could be a contender to land RHP Emerson Hancock from the Seattle Mariners.

The Mariners want a right-handed bat in return. Would you rather see the Cubs deal Matt Shaw or Seiya Suzuki to get it done?

Consider the ability of both players and the contract for both players. Suzuki is a huge piece of this 2026 team, but he's on an expiring deal. Matt Shaw is under club control for a long time and could be part of Chicago's future.
