The Chicago Cubs don't have much representation in the latest All-Star voting ballot update. Find out where each Cubs player stands right now in the ballot update.

The All-Star game will take place in less than one month on July 14, 2026.

The Midsummer Classic will be held at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, and at least one Chicago Cubs player will be represented in the All-Star game. Last year, the Cubs had three All-Star selections in Pete Crow-Armstrong, Kyle Tucker, and Matthew Boyd.

This year, things aren’t looking great for the Cubs position players.

MLB released the first set of All-Star ballot voting for both the National League and American League on Monday afternoon. This is the first time fans are seeing the top vote getters at each position before the first phase of voting closes on June 25.

Overall Thoughts

It’s not totally surprising to see every Cubs player outside the top-5 at their respective positions in this ballot voting update. Chicago is just two games over .500 at 37-35, and the offense has struggled for most of the last month.

Busch’s home run numbers are down. Hoerner, Bregman, Swanson, and Suzuki have not been inconsistent at the plate, and Ballesteros has cooled off significantly since his hot start to begin the season.

However, it is a bit surprising to see Crow-Armstrong receive only 265,408 votes in the first ballot voting update.

Crow-Armstrong has been one of the most impactful players in the game this season. His 4 WAR ranks third in all of baseball and second among all position players. Only Ohtani (5.6) and Cristopher Sanchez (5.1) have a higher WAR than the Cubs center fielder.

He has also been one of the best hitters in baseball over the past few weeks. Crow-Armstrong is slashing an impressive .377/.429/.714 with six home runs, six doubles, one triple, 10 RBI, and four stolen bases across his last 18 games.

While Crow-Armstrong likely won’t move on to Phase 2 of the All-Star voting, he is well on his way to his second straight All-Star selection. There's a chance he is the Cubs' only representation in Philadelphia.
