Who's in first place? It's not the Los Angeles Dodgers. Nope, that honor belongs to the San Diego Padres, who are a half-game up on the Dodgers. 

As for the D-backs, they are in third with a 20-21 record and four games behind the Padres.

Since no one is running away with the division crown at this point, look for the D-backs to make a push toward unseating the Padres.

It's still early, but it can happen.
