UPDATE: Diamondbacks' Game with Cardinals Postponed

UPDATE: Thursday night's game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and St. Louis Cardinals has been postponed.

Inclement weather moved into the St. Louis area and, after delaying the start, it was ruled that the rain situation would not end on Thursday night.

A report from the Associated Press provided information on the game and when it would be made up in the future. 

"The game will be made up on July 23, which was previously an open day for both clubs," according to the AP report.

Zac Gallen, who was scheduled to start on Thursday, will now get the start on Friday against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field.

The Diamondbacks announced that Thursday’s starter Zac Gallen will start Friday at Tampa Bay.

With inclement weather around the St. Louis metropolitan area on Thursday, the Arizona Diamondbacks' game against the St. Louis Cardinals has been delayed.

The Cardinals' account on X posted about the situation as it is at around 6:13 p.m. CT in St. Louis.

Whether the game starts later or is postponed, Diamondbacks fans will have to wait and see.
