Diamondbacks' Nolan Arenado Joins 2,000-Hit Club

Nolan Arenado has been a fantastic player during his MLB career. He added another addition to his record-filled career.

On Monday night at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arenado hit his career hit No. 2,000 against the Athletics. It was a double down the left-field line. As Arenado reached second base and looked back at the Diamondbacks' dugout, everyone was waving their hands and hats in his direction.

Here's some additional data from MLB.com. Arenado is the sixth player in MLB history with 2,000-plus hits, 350-plus home runs, and 10-plus Gold Gloves. He joins Ken Griffey Jr., Willie Mays, Mike Schmidt, Johnny Bench, and Al Kaline.

That's some pretty good company for Arenado to join.
