On Tuesday afternoon, the Arizona Diamondbacks outrighted two players.
Catcher Aramis Garcia was sent to Triple-A Reno, while infielder Jesus Valdez was sent to Double-A Amarillo.
Garcia is out of options, therefore that's why he was outrighted. Garcia is decent behind the plate, but not good in the batter's box. He has a career slash line of .210/.245/.321.
Valdez was part of the team's roster in the Mexico City Series, but was sent back to the Amarillo Sod Poodles. Now, he's going to play in Amarillo.
