Ildemaro Vargas has been on a heater this season for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

While his 27-game hitting streak covering over two seasons is now over, he's managed to get back into the hit column again recently.

It appears that Vargas is setting himself up to have a stellar season. Manager Torey Lovullo wouldn't mind seeing Vargas put up some more offense as the season rolls along.
