Marte Goes on 10-day Injured List

The Ketel Marte saga continues for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

After a high-level meeting between Marte and the Diamondbacks' front office, Marte, who has been MIA for a couple of days, was placed on the 10-day Injured List on Thursday.

John Gambadoro, longtime radio host at Arizona Sports, posted this on X on Thursday night.

"Ketel Marte, his agent, Mike Hazen and Torrey Lovullo met today in what was described as a productive meeting," Gambadoro wrote. :He will go on the 10-day IL today. His MRI showed some inflammation on the upper hamstring and medial joint of the knee. He received an injection this afternoon. The Diamondbacks are hopeful his stay on the IL will be on the short end."

So, the Marte story will continue until this season ends.
