Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo had some tough news about first baseman Tyler Locklear. 

Lovullo told reporters that Locklear is not due back in the lineup until either mid-May or possibly even June.

In the offseason, according to MLB Trade Rumors, Locklear underwent twin surgeries to fix both a labrum problem in his left shoulder and a ligament tear in his left elbow.

It's also possible that Locklear goes on the 10-day Injured List when the season starts, then gets moved to the 60-day Injured List later on.
