This offseason the Arizona Diamondbacks plan on trading away some of their most productive stars in order to reload and prepare for a potential rebuild.
Here are some of the players you might see getting traded during this offseason.
Ketel Marte, a second base and found sometimes in the outfield, is a top player you could see having trade rumors around here soon. Arizona has reported they are open to offers. Despite his strong showings in 2025 season, it is payroll concerns as well as club house dynamic concerns.
Teams that would be interested would be a team that have offensive- needs, competitive clubs, seeking middle-infield at bats and also have reliable pitching they are able to give up in the trade is where the D-Backs will be looking.
Starting Pitcher Zach Gallen, for the Diamondbacks is among those to be trade because of payroll concerns. Gallen is in his contract year, has not performed up to the expectations of the D-Backs and they would be better off looking for a trade than losing Gallen for nothing at the end of the year.
Any team looking for veteran starting pitcher would be likely to bite at this offer.
Third basemen Eugenio Suarez was acquired during the 2025 season right at the trade deadline. Again, the payroll being the only problem makes Suarez the top candidate to be traded after a decent performance this past season.
We will see most teams that will make offers for third base Eugenio Suarez will be those that have plenty of money to spend and are willing to take the risk of a batter who finds himself mainly in the outfield.
The main goal for the Arizona besides the payroll, is to find younger controllable pitching. Rather than extending the older veterans.
The Arizona Diamondbacks know that trade timing is sooner than later being that the later they wait the value is declining for these veteran players.
