Ohtani Out of Dodgers' Lineup

Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani, who has announced that he's only going to focus on his hitting for the rest of this season, is out again.

Ohtani was not on the lineup card for Tuesday night's game against the Cincinnati Reds.

Freddie Freeman reportedly will fill the designated hitter's spot, and Tommy Edman will bat leadoff for Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.

Ohtani just returned on Monday. Now, he's out again.

This is not a good look for Ohtani heading into the homestretch of the 2026 MLB season and before postseason play begins.
