Baseball is so Weird

The A's (47-71) have more wins than the Dodgers (70-48) this month with two. Both of the A's wins came over the weekend against the Red Sox in Boston. Those same Red Sox just swept the Dodgers from July 31-August 2.

The A's hadn't won back-to-back games since late June, and hadn't won a series since they played the Rockies in Las Vegas in the middle of June.

Everyone says the Dodgers are ruining baseball, but this is a microcosm of the randomness of the game.
