Wealthy owners not paying thier players.
Wealthy owners not investing in their ball club.
Wealthy owners not listening to the fan base that has faithfully supported their club through the years, good and bad.
This didn’t start with the Dodgers.
This started when organizations chose profits over players.
It started when the Red Sox traded away Mookie Betts.
Shohei Ohtani walked across town from the Angels to join the Dodgers.
Or when the Atlanta Braves bungled a generational talent’s contract, and Freeman went to LA.
Max Muncy? The Athletics cast him off like a bad habit.
And did we forget that players want to be part of a winning club?
And did we forget that the Dodgers have one of the best management, front office, and farm systems in the entire league?
This isn't about one single club. But it's easy to point fingers. It's easier to make one entity the scapegoat.
