For any old-school Los Angeles Dodgers fans, the name of Reggie Smith probably brings a smile to your faces.

Smith, one of baseball's best switch hitters, is going to be inducted into the Legends of Dodger Baseball this season.

Smith played 17 MLB seasons, coming over to the Dodgers from the St. Louis Cardinals in a trade. Smith started his career with the Boston Red Sox for his first eight MLB seasons, then moved to St. Louis in the 1974 season.

He had a .287 career batting average and hit 314 career home runs. Smith won a Gold Glove with the Red Sox and had seven All-Star Game appearances, three coming while he was with the Dodgers.

Smith is definitely a Dodgers legend.
