Dodgers DFS Picks Against Giants cover image

Following a win to close out the series against the Philadelphia Phillies, the Dodgers will host the San Francisco Giants in a four-game series at home. They will have their ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the mound against Logan Webb. In prior outings, the Dodgers have managed an impressive .336 batting average against Webb.

Here is who to target for DFS from the Dodgers on Thursday:

Starting Pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto ($9,700):

Yes, that is a hefty price tag, but for good reason. Yamamoto has held Giants batters to a mere .152 batting average, facing them 66 times. He has been able to garner 22 strikeouts, while giving up just 10 hits, and only two home-runs. He has pitched better on the road this season; however, based on his most recent outing against the Giants, going seven innings, allowing just one run on one hit and no home-runs, while allocating ten strikeouts, he is a strong candidate to score the highest DFS points among pitchers on Thursday.

First Baseman Freddie Freeman ($4,500):

Freeman has had success against Webb, facing him 46 times, and managing a .348 batting average. He has notched 16 hits, one home-run, and six runs batted in against Webb. He is also coming off a game against the Phillies where he had two hits, one of them being a home-run, so he will look to carry that momentum to Thursday's divisional game against a familiar foe.

Third Baseman Max Muncy ($4,400):

Muncy has been slowly returning to form following his absence due to injury. He has a .281 batting average against Webb, and although some might be hesitant to take Muncy at that price, he has shown success against the Giants bullpen as well. In lefty vs. right-handed pitcher matchup, Muncy should be on daily fantasy players' radar.

Shortstop Mookie Betts ($5,200):

Betts, similar to Freeman, has also had success against Webb. He is batting .381, garnering 16 hits in 42 at-bats. In the past 18 games, Betts has garnered 26 hits, five home-runs, 20 runs batted in, and in the month of September, has a .349 batting average. Based on his recent form, Betts should be in your DFS lineup for Thursday's slate.

Outfielder Alex Call ($3,100):

Call has had past success against Webb, going 3-for-6, with a triple and one run batted in. He is coming off a productive series against the Phillies, and the price tag shows he is being undervalued in DFS leagues. He should be in your lineup for Thursday's slate.
