Dodgers DFS Picks Against Giants cover image

The Dodgers clinched playoff birth on Friday with their second win of the series against the San Francisco Giants. On Saturday, they will have their ace Tyler Glasnow on the mound against Kai-Wei Teng, who has struggled this season, with a 2-4 win-loss record and a 6.41 earned run average. The Dodgers should be able to carry their momentum from Friday's win into Saturday and beat a Giants team that had their playoff chances cut short after their loss last night.

Here is who to target from the Dodgers:

Starting Pitcher Tyler Glasnow ($10,500):

In a slate where the aces are slim, take Glasnow, as he just wrapped up a game against the Giants in his most recent outing, going 6.2 innings, giving up just three hits, one run, while striking out four. His most recent outing was on the road, and on the season, he has posted a 4.56 ERA, whereas at home, he has a 2.38 ERA. Start Glasnow in Saturday's DFS slate with confidence.

First Baseman/Outfielder Shohei Ohtani ($6,700):

Yes, that is a hefty price tag; however, Ohtani has hit a home-run in three of the last four games, as well as averaging .338 in September. In the past seven games, Ohtani has gotten 11 hits, eight runs, four home-runs, and six runs batted in. Ohtani has not faced Teng in the past, but he has hit 38 home-runs off right-handed pitchers, compared to 14 home-runs off left-handed pitchers, this season. So, it's safe to say Ohtani will be on-base a couple of times on Saturday.

First Baseman Freddie Freeman ($4,600):

Freeman has been facing left-handed pitchers more than right-handed pitchers in the past week, but let's not forget that he is batting .297 against right-handed pitchers, and against a pitcher like Teng, who is prone to giving up runs, Freeman is a sure fire start in DFS lineups, especially at that price point.

Outfielder Michael Conforto ($3,000):

Conforto isn't a name that usually appears in DFS articles due to his struggles this season; however, he has a whopping .345 batting average against the Giants this season, going 10-for-29, with two home-runs, and eight runs batted in. Against a right-handed pitcher, Conforto is a value pick for Saturday's slate.

Catcher Ben Rortvedt ($2,100):

Another value pick is catcher Ben Rortvedt. He has a batting average of .333 against the Giants, going 5-for-15 thus far, adding two runs batted in, while drawing two walks. At a low price like this one, even one hit would suffice for Rortvedt, he is a low-risk option for Saturday's slate.
