Dodgers DFS Picks Against Phillies cover image

Blake Snell will be on the mound for the Dodgers as they attempt to avoid a sweep against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies will have Jesus Luzardo on the mound, and in past outings, he has had success against Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts, while faltering against Teoscar Hernandez.

Here is to target from the Dodgers on Wednesday's slate:

Starting Pitcher Blake Snell ($9,500):

Snell has had past success against the Phillies. In 73 at-bats, the Phillies have only been able to muster a .151 batting average. The heavy-hitters such as Kyle Schwarber have gone 2-for-11 with one home-run and four runs batted in, striking out four times. Bryce Harper has gone 2-for-10 with one home-runs and two runs batted in, striking out five times. Pitching at home compared to the road has been night and day for Snell, as he has posted an impressive 1.44 earned run average in six games pitched at home, with a four-win, one loss record. He has averaged six strikeouts per game at home, which is promising in a lineup without Trea Turner, and their other heavy-hitters mainly being left-handed batters,

Outfielder Teoscar Hernandez ($4,400):

Hernandez, as mentioned above, has had success against Luzardo, going 3-for-5 with a double and one run batted in. In addition to that, Hernandez has a .261 batting average against left-handed pitchers this season, and he has hit double the amount of home-runs at home than on the road. For those reasons, Hernandez should be selected in daily fantasy leagues for Wednesday's slate.

Outfielder Andy Pages ($4,000):

Pages has shined in the Phillies series, notching five hits, three runs, one home-run, and one run batted in, thus far. He will now face another left-handed pitcher and looks to take advantage of that matchup as well. He is batting an impressive .305 against left-handed pitchers. Additionally, he is batting .326 on average at home, making Pages an appealing DFS option.

Second/Third Baseman Tommy Edman ($3,700):

Edman is 2-for-8 against Luzardo; however, he has been getting back to his form recently, notching two hits and one run in Tuesday's bout against the Phillies. The switch-hitter has a batting average of .264 at home, compared to a .197 average on the road, and at that price tag, Edman is worth taking in DFS lineups.

The Dodgers will look to win and carry their momentum into the Giants series. They currently hold a two game lead over the Padres for first place in the National League West.
