The Los Angeles Dodgers ride the long ball for yet another victory, shutting down the Los Angeles Angels.
Before the Freeway Series kicked off Friday night for the series opener, the Los Angeles Dodgers faced tough news with the loss of Blake Snell to the Injured List.
Resorting to a bullpen game on hours notice, the Dodgers' offense picked up the long ball to take the series opener against the Los Angeles Angels, 6-0.
Short Notice Bullpen Delivers Against Angels
Friday night was the first of many bullpen games that the Dodgers will send out as manager Dave Roberts and Co. look to find solutions with injuries hitting their rotation.
Will Klein was the conductor for Friday's bullpen plans, acting as the opener. Klein delivered two scoreless innings to kick off the game, and the train trudged on through at Angels Stadium in Anaheim. Calif.
It took a total of eight Dodgers arms to complete nine scoreless innings.
The eight-piece ensemble included Klein, Edgardo Henriquez, Blake Treinen, Wyatt Mills, Kyle Hurt, Alex Vesia, Jack Dreyer, and newcomer Charlie Barnes.

Home runs have been distributed frugally throughout the last couple of weeks for the Dodgers. On Friday night, the Dodgers hit three of them, including going back-to-back.
The offense kicked off in the fourth inning as Andy Pages launched his 10th home run of the year 407 feet to center for a three-run shot.
Max Muncy followed that up with a 383-foot shot to deep right field as the Dodgers went back-to-back for the second time in as many days.
Muncy's home run gave him the team lead with No. 12 in the 2026 MLB season.
