Andy Pages punches the Los Angeles Dodgers' ticket to the National League Championship Series with a signature October moment in win over the Atlanta Braves.
Andy Pages had a game-saving catch in center field during the 2025 World Series that kept the Los Angeles Dodgers championship hopes alive in extra innings. Speaking offensively, he was still at the bottom of the barrel in terms of production.
He erased every past wrong at the plate in his previous postseason tenure in Game 4 of the National League Division Series with a go-ahead two-out RBI single with the bases loaded against the Atlanta Braves in the seventh inning.
That hit would be the knock that ended the Braves' season as the Dodgers clinched a third consecutive National League Championship Series berth with a 4-1 win on Wednesday.
Before Game 3, manager Dave Roberts acknowledged the vital importance of Pages in the starting lineup and also touched on his 0-for-7 start to the playoffs.
"For us to win the World Series this year, we're gonna need him to be an active part of our team," Roberts said via SportsNetLA.

The Braves turned to right-hander Tyler Mahle to combat the Dodgers' ever-so-changing lineup.
Roberts did, in fact, switch up the starting nine for the second consecutive day, moving Shohei Ohtani from the fifth hole to the cleanup spot to have as many lefties at the top of the order against Mahle.
Though Muncy did not tag Mahle on the mound, he provided an exclamation point on the win, crushing a solo shot to deep right field off Raisel Iglesias.
That didn't seem to faze the California native, as Mahle buckled down and dismantled the Dodgers for 6.1 innings of work and allowed just one earned run — Muncy reached base on a fielding error — on three hits and four punchouts.
Atlanta's first-inning blunders were the only duds in Mahle's outing, but the Braves were able to record one run as well against a wild-throwing Tyler Glasnow.
It was an uphill battle through and through for the right-hander, with free passes coming by the dozen, it seemed. Glasnow walked Ronald Acuña Jr. in the fifth inning — his fifth walk through 4.2 innings — and Roberts pulled the plug from there, leaving it to the bullpen.
The bullpen indeed held it down, with Alex Vesia, Edgardo Henriquez, Tanner Scott, and Edwin Díaz finishing the bulk of this game.
With the win, the Dodgers have a date with either the Milwaukee Brewers or the San Diego Padres this Sunday.
