One of the hottest hitters in the Los Angeles Dodgers' farm system reached another milestone Thursday.

Mike Sirota continues to strengthen his case as one of the top prospects in the Los Angeles Dodgers' organization.

The 22-year-old outfielder reached base safely for the 50th consecutive game during Double-A Tulsa's 7-6 victory over Wichita on Thursday. While Sirota did not record a hit, he found other ways to impact the game, drawing three walks and helping fuel a late comeback effort.

His patient approach at the plate has become one of the defining traits of his breakout 2026 season.

Even on a night when opposing pitchers kept him off the basepaths via hits, Sirota's strike-zone discipline allowed him to extend a streak that now ranks among the longest in Minor League Baseball over the past several seasons.

Discipline Driving Success

Sirota's latest performance highlighted why evaluators have become increasingly impressed with his offensive profile.

After being retired in his first two plate appearances, he adjusted by refusing to chase pitches outside the zone. His three walks marked another example of his advanced approach and continued a season in which he has consistently put pressure on opposing pitchers.

That plate discipline has translated into elite production. Sirota has emerged as one of the most difficult hitters in the minors to retire, combining power, patience and contact ability into a complete offensive package.

The former third-round pick has already surpassed last season's walk total despite playing fewer games, underscoring the growth he has made since entering professional baseball.

Thriving After Promotion

Sirota's production at High-A Great Lakes left little doubt he was ready for a bigger challenge.

After dominating Midwest League pitching early in the season, the Dodgers promoted him to Double-A Tulsa in May. Rather than experiencing an adjustment period, he has continued to produce against more advanced competition.

His strong start with the Drillers has only elevated his standing within a farm system loaded with talent. Already viewed as one of the organization's top prospects entering the season, Sirota has positioned himself as a potential future contributor at the major league level.

Stock Continues to Rise

Perhaps most impressive is how quickly Sirota overcame a slow start to the year.

After opening the season in a brief slump, he quickly found his rhythm and has been one of the most productive hitters in the minor leagues ever since.

The consistency has been remarkable, as he has reached base in every game since early April while producing impact numbers across multiple offensive categories.

With each passing week, Sirota's combination of on-base ability, power and maturity at the plate continues to draw attention. The streak may eventually come to an end, but his emergence as one of the Dodgers' most exciting prospects appears to be just getting started.
