The Los Angeles Dodgers have a date at the White House later this month.

The back-to-back World Series champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers, have scheduled a meeting at the White House with President Donald Trump in honor of their 2025 championship run, according to Edward Lewis of The California Post.

The meeting is set up for July 23.

That date falls during the Dodgers' East Coast road trip following the All-Star break. It will be the first off day of the second half, sandwiched between a three-game set against the Philadelphia Phillies and a three-game series against the New York Mets.

A visit to celebrate the back-to-back champions was already in order by skipper Dave Roberts this past offseason.

"I am going to continue to try to do what tradition says and not try to make political statements, because I am not a politician," Roberts told the Post back in February.

As per the Dodgers' schedule, the most convenient time could have been earlier in the season, when Los Angeles played a three-game series against the Washington Nationals at the beginning of April.

Though scheduling conflicts from both sides prohibited the meeting, it looked like the Dodgers organization would skip the tradition.

But, as it seems, the Dodgers will indeed make the tradition happen amid a busy slate of games to kick off the second half of the season.

“President Trump is excited to welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers BACK to the White House to celebrate their World Series championship!” White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers told Lewis of the Post.

The Dodgers first observed this tradition during the 2021 season with former President Joe Biden and again in the 2025 season to celebrate their 2024 World Series win in April of 2025.

During that first meeting with Trump, he glamorized players such as Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani.

“He’s got a good future, I’m telling you," Trump said of Ohtani.

To cap off their visit, future first-ballot Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw and team owner Mark Walter presented Trump with his own custom-made Dodgers home white jersey.

Trump later said he hopes the team can win another championship so they can return.

“I hope you’re going to be back here next year,” Trump said.

They indeed will be.
