Division leaders collide as the Los Angeles Dodgers’ elite rotation tests a surging Milwaukee Brewers' lineup.

In a rematch of the 2025 NLCS, the Los Angeles Dodgers are tasked with going to Milwaukee to play a Brewers team that has momentum on their side.

Milwaukee just went 5-1 on a road trip that included stops in Minnesota and Chicago. After sweeping their bitter rival, Los Angeles knows it's a battle of two division leaders in a regular-season series that seems to always go Brewers manager Pat Murphy's way.

When it matters the most, the Dodgers deliver, but in the regular season, Milwaukee seems to have Los Angeles's number. Each team was able to enjoy an off-day ahead of this three-game series, one that ends the day before Memorial Day.

Dodgers Put 31-19 Record to the Test in Milwaukee

For as good as the Brewers have been on the road, they're arguably that much better at home. Milwaukee is 15-9 at American Family Field, and most recently took five of six against the New York Yankees and San Diego Padres from May 8-14.

The Dodgers didn't allow Milwaukee to score more than one run in any of their four NLCS games last October. That said, the Brewers swept the Dodgers, in LA, last July.

This three-game series ends a nine-game road stretch for the Dodgers, one that began back on May 15. Los Angeles has gone 5-1 in that span, echoing what the Brewers just did in a six-game road trip of their own.

Starting Pitching Matchups

Thankfully for the Dodgers, they don't have to go against the Brewers' top pitchers, although their young studs have impressed time and time again this season.

Friday, May 22

Justin Wrobleski (6-1, 2.49 ERA) vs. Logan Henderson (1-1, 3.50 ERA).

Saturday, May 23

Roki Sasaki (2-3, 5.09 ERA) vs. Robert Gasser (0-0, 4.50 ERA).

Sunday, May 24

Yoshinobu Yamamoto (3-4, 3.32 ERA) vs. Brandon Sproat (1-2, 5.75 ERA).

Dodgers Are 100-77 All-Time in Regular Season vs. Brewers

Andy Pages, who was instrumental in handing Padres' Mason Miller his first loss in over a year, leads this team with his .288 batting average in 184 at-bats. Shohei Ohtani's 173 at-bats and .272 aren't too far behind, while Teoscar Hernandez, Freddie Freeman, and Max Muncy all have 160-plus at-bats and are hitting over .260.

As for the Brewers, William Contreras leads the way with his 180 at-bats and .294 average. Not too far behind are Brice Turang and Jake Bauers, both of whom have 148-plus at-bats and a .291 average. Health-wise, the only major contributor on offense who's out is Brandon Lockridge.
