Los Angeles Dodgers top prospect Zyhir Hope has been off to a hot start down in Double-A Tulsa.

The early portion of the 2026 campaign has belonged to Zyhir Hope, who is quickly finding his rhythm at Double-A.

The Dodgers’ No. 2 prospect delivered a statement performance on Sunday, launching a grand slam that helped fuel a 7-2 victory for Tulsa. The swing highlighted the raw power that has made Hope one of the organization’s most intriguing young talents within the minor leagues.

It marked his second home run in as many days, signaling a clear surge after a relatively quiet showing during Spring Training.

Hope’s latest performance wasn’t limited to one swing. He added another hit later in the game, giving him his first multi-hit effort of the season.

Through the first eight games of the season, Hope has recorded a hit in every contest, building an impressive streak to open the year. That consistency has translated into strong early numbers and reflects a more advanced approach at the plate.

The strong start comes on the heels of a challenging Spring Training, where Hope faced big-league pitching and experienced growing pains. Though the results weren’t eye-catching, the experience appears to be paying dividends early in the minor-league season.

Now back in a familiar environment, Hope looks more comfortable and confident, allowing his natural tools to take over. His ability to make adjustments has been evident, particularly in how he’s handling different pitch locations and staying within his approach.

Acquired in a trade that sent Michael Busch to the Chicago Cubs, Hope represents an important part of the Dodgers’ long-term outlook.

His early-season surge is a reminder of the upside he brings, especially with his blend of power and developing plate discipline. If he continues on this trajectory, then Hope could quickly climb closer to the Major Leagues, although the main priority is with his development as a prospect.

For now, the focus remains on sustaining this momentum — but through eight games, Hope has already made it clear he’s a name to watch in the Dodgers’ system.
