Giants Securing Fourth Place in NL West

Alright San Francisco Giants fans, this season has not turned out like you had hoped. I think the same can be said for first-year Giants manager Tony Vitello and president of baseball operations Buster Posey.

Entering play on Wednesday, the Giants held a three-game lead over the Colorado Rockies for fourth place in the National League West Division.

It has seemed like every time the Rockies make a little headway toward getting into fourth, the Giants find a way to put together a few wins.

The team is 11 games behind the San Diego Padres for third place in the division. Can San Francisco catch them?
