Last season, San Francisco Giants reliever Ryan Walker didn't have a great year. 

Walker probably wants to be the Giants' closer this season. But he has to prove that he's worth the role from the get-go.

Should Walker come out in Spring Training and show that he can be a competent closer, then look for Giants manager Tony Vitello to put him in that spot.

Time will tell, though, when it comes to Walker.
